Sporting Activities in Frankfurt Rhine-Main

The Frankfurt Rhine-Main Region plays host to a number of international sporting events, such as the cycling race “Rund um den Finanzplatz Eschorn-Frankfurt" (formerly "Around the Henninger Tower”) or the renowned equestrian tournaments in Wiesbaden and Frankfurt. Professional teams from the region belong to the top of their trade, including the football teams Mainz 05 and Eintracht Frankfurt, the basketball giants Deutsche Bank Skyliners and the Ice Hockey cracks Frankfurt Lions.
But that’s not all! There are countless other clubs that promise sporting entertainment. There’s the tennis and golf clubs in Bad Homburg, the Weilburg rowing club and Wiesbaden’s equestrian club, and much, much more.
